Responsibilities.
Convert ambiguous and complex business problems into technical solutions.
Lead and develop design and development of features, systems and solutions aligning with business priorities, industry best practices and compliance requriements.
Design scalable, resilient, and cost-effective solutions considering both requirements and NFRs.
Influence build vs buy decisions, deprecate creaking software/applications, lead significant refactoring.
Collaborate with senior leadership to define the organization's tech strategy and roadmap, identifying opportunities to leverage tech opportunities for business growth and efficiency.
Do run-ahead research and build prototypes for new features or to optimize existing systems for performance or cost.
Build/Adapt and implement tools that empower the A23 engineering teams to self-manage the infrastructure and services owned by them.
Implement automation and DevOps practices to streamline operations *.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and architects, ensuring alignment with software best practices and architectural standards.
Have great communication and influencing skills to resolve disputes and to lead stakeholders to appropriate decisions with data points and foresight.

Qualifications.
14+ years of professional software development experience.
Proven track record of technical leadership with 3+ years as an architect or lead.
Knowledge of fundamentals required to build and operate highly-available software and data pipelines at scale including data structures, architectural patterns, distributed systems and supporting toolchains.
Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to seek consensus, provide technical leadership, lead by example, exhibiting patience and determination.
Expertise in cloud services across AWS, Azure, and GCP, with a deep understanding of their respective ecosystems and architectural patterns.
Hands on experience with Opensource backend.
Hands on experience with NodeJs, Java, Spring boot, containers, SQL DB, NoSQL DB, caching engine, APM AWS.
Experience with observability tools and platforms such as MLT, DataDog, NewRelic etc.
Strong knowledge of one or more Languages: Python, NodeJS, Java, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, ReactJS, Spring;.
One or more Cloud certifications highly desirable AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Professional; AWS Certified Specialty areas; Azure Solutions Architect Expert; GCP Professional Cloud Architect; Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) 11- Strong work ethic; willingness to work additional hours to meet business need and coordinate with colleagues.
