Corporate Engagement Manager (IT)

Job Purpose

The Technology Engagement Specialist will ensure that IT engagements and interactions are proactively considered and executed across the Bank. The role will build awareness, understanding and engagement of the various strategic IT programs, their subsequent objectives, progress and achievements. This will be achieved through the development, delivery and evaluation of effective internal and external engagements through a multitude of channels and engagement techniques such as such as video, presentations, email, intranet, digital signage, etc.

Job Responsibilities :

• Lead, develop and implement the Tech & Digital engagement strategy and storyline within the Bank
• Develop and deliver new engagement channels and interactions where required to ensure successful delivery of IT messages to the targeted audiences
• Develop strong and effective working relationships both inside and outside of IT team to ensure communications fit the strategic direction of the Bank and Tech & Digital
• Work across Tech & Digital teams to find out potential news or story ideas maintaining finger-on-your-pulse coverage and ongoing colleague engagement
• Define and measure success metrics in relation to engagement awareness, impact, etc. (eg. Impact on Voice Survey Results

Actionable :

• Produce internal program and team communications including blogs, vlogs, social media updates and digital content to increase CIO and leadership team visibility and engagement with staff
• Internal and external event coordination as and when required.
• Intranet / web editor / compendium / boiler plate supporting the wider team to ensure Tech & Digital content remains up to date
• Develop and maintain the weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual Tech & Digital communication calendar
• Providing content for new and existing engagement channels (eg. Success Stories)
• Prepare and launch IT related content and communication as per the communication calendar and schedule in a timely manner
• Analyze complex technology ideas and build a range of meaningful communication recommendations for critical change related aspects.
• Develop new ways and means to represent IT strategy updates, key initiatives, dashboards, etc. (eg. Business Dashboards, Newsletters)
• Establish strong working relations with key stakeholders internal and external to IT
• Conduct trainings / awareness campaigns for improving quality of communications across IT

Educational Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in mass media & communication (preferable)
• Masters degree in business administration in marketing / communications (preferable)
• A work portfolio available for review (preferable)
• Exposure to digital media / social media marketing is a plus

Key Skills :

• 7-10 years of relevant experience in corporate communications / branding / content creation / copywriting
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Outstanding storytelling & presentation skills
• Highly proficiency in design and graphics tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, CorelDraw and various image & video editors
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Windows & macOS
• Excellent team player
