Job Description

This role involves overseeing Management Information Systems, general accounting, and accounts payable functions. The incumbent will ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with accounting and tax regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • MIS and Reporting:
    • Develop, implement, and maintain effective MIS systems to support business decision-making.
    • Prepare and analyze comprehensive financial reports, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Conduct in-depth financial analysis, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
    • Create actionable insights and maintain financial dashboard and reporting tools.
    • Coordinate with internal and external auditors.
  • General Accounting:
    • Manage day to day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.
    • Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and tax regulation.
    • Supervise monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
    • Coordinate with internal and external auditors.
  • Accounts Payable:
    • Oversee planning, review, and analysis of the accounts payable functions.
    • Process employee benefits payments, such as settlements advances and airfare encashments.
    • Ensue on time client invoicing. Follow-ups, and maintaining proper documentation trails.
    • Drats and manages bank guarantees, coordinating with banks and internal teams.
    • Assists in annual statutory audits and quarterly VAT assessments. 
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities to streamline accounting and reporting processes.
    • Implement automation and digitalization initiatives to enhance department efficiency.
  • Time Management:
    • Lead and mentor the assigned team members.
    • Set goals, assign tsks, and provide feedback from team development.
