Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and driven SaaS Sales Manager to lead our sales team while also working hands-on with individual sales responsibilities. This role is critical to driving revenue growth, coaching a team of SaaS sales executives, and managing sales efforts targeted at small and mid-sized recruitment and staffing companies across the US and Canada. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SaaS sales and team leadership, with a proven ability to balance management duties with individual sales activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a remote team of SaaS Sales Executives to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Personally handle key accounts and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, including product demos, contract negotiations, and client onboarding.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth, both individually and across the team.
- Monitor individual and team performance, providing feedback and coaching to ensure success.
- Collaborate closely with marketing and product teams to create tailored pitches and demos that align with client needs.
- Identify new business opportunities and help the team develop prospecting techniques for the recruitment and staffing industry.
- Analyze sales metrics and report on performance regularly to senior management.
- Stay current with industry trends and product updates to effectively communicate Skillkeepr s value to potential clients.
- Manage client relationships to ensure long-term satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in SaaS sales, with at least 2 years in a team management or leadership role.
- Proven track record of individual and team success in meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills, with a focus on developing sales talent.
- Experience in the recruitment technology or HR tech space is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Zoho, Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales enablement technologies.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing and supporting a remote team.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with the recruitment industry and experience selling to staffing agencies is a plus.
- Willingness to work flexible hours to accommodate clients in various time zones.
