Lighting Designer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop innovative lighting designs that enhance aesthetics, functionality, and energy efficiency.
• Utilize Dialux for lighting simulations and calculations.
• Perform lumen calculations to ensure optimal lighting levels for various applications.
• Implement layering techniques such as task lighting, ambient lighting, and accent lighting to create balanced and dynamic spaces.
• Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and project teams to integrate lighting seamlessly into design concepts.
• Prepare and review Bill of Quantities (BOQs), ensuring brand and product approvals.
• Stay updated with the latest lighting trends, technologies, and energy-efficient solutions.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Lighting Designer in commercial, residential, or retail projects.
• Proficiency in Dialux for lighting design and analysis.
• Strong knowledge of lumen calculations and lighting physics.
• Expertise in light layering techniques for different environments.
• Experience with BOQs, brand, and product approvals.
• Excellent attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional lighting experiences.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
