RD POSITION AT NOKIA STRATEGY TECHNOLOGY
Quality Assurance Engineer
The Sustainable Energy Management incubation venture is a start-up-style team building a disruptive solution for real-time, distributed power asset and flexibility management, working with partners and customers from the energy industry. The team is distributed across US and Europe.
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to work with RD to design and execute test, debugging and defining corrective actions.
Job responsibilities
As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will Work closely with RD to review quality specifications and technical design documents, Be actively engaged with the software and very hands-on, Create detailed and comprehensive test cases and plans, Plan, prioritize and execute tests, Produce status reports for product testing and defects, Raise risks with respect to quality and release schedule, Assist with technical documentation writing and user training.
Qualification criteria and expected competences
You must have
Bachelor s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
5+ years software testing experience - manual and/or automated
Proven work experience in software quality assurance tools and processes
Experience with performance and security testing.
Hands-on experience with QA methodologies, Agile/Scrum development.
Would be great if you have
Experience in enterprise SaaS and/or cloud environments
Energy/utilities/fintech industry experience
You are a team player and individual contributor in an early-stage startup environment who is
a self-starter willing to work independently and learn,
a team player who is highly communicative and collaborative.
able to adapt to ambiguity and work in a dynamic fast-paced environment,
a creative problem solver, out of the box thinker,
