We at Harman Finochem Ltd are hiring for a Head - R&D at Navi Mumbai location.

Role & responsibilities :

• Experience setting up a new Bioprocess lab for R&D at Navi Mumbai.
• The creation of fermentation-based APIs and intermediates for both upstream and downstream processes.
• Choosing and creating a business plan for the fermentation-based products.
• Identifying and collaborating the technology suppliers for the fermentation-based product.
• Enzymes and Enzymatic process development.
• Involved in designing a synthetic method and developing a cost-effective and environmentally friendly technique for bulk drugs and APIs by using enzymes.
• To ensure all documentation related to upstream process as per SOP/protocol.

Preferred candidate profile :

• Years of experience : 12-20yrs from Biotech Industry
• Education : PhD in Biotech or MSc Microbiology
