Head Human Resource

Job Summary:

The Head of HR at a textile mill is responsible for overseeing all human resource functions, ensuring compliance with labour laws, fostering a productive workplace culture, and aligning HR strategies with business objectives.

The role requires expertise in workforce management, industrial relations, talent acquisition, employee engagement, and HR policies tailored to the textile manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities:

1. HR Strategy & Workforce Planning

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
• Forecast workforce requirements and manage recruitment accordingly.
• Ensure a skilled and motivated workforce to meet production demands.

2. Talent Acquisition & Retention

• Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring timely hiring of skilled labour and managerial staff.
• Develop employee retention programs to reduce attrition rates.
• Implement training and development initiatives to upskill employees.

3. Compliance

• Ensure compliance with labour laws, factory regulations, buyer audits and safety norms.
• Handle disciplinary actions and conflict resolution effectively.

4. Employee Engagement & Performance Management

• Develop policies for employee engagement, motivation, and productivity enhancement.
• Implement performance appraisal systems and career growth plans.
• Address grievances and foster a positive work environment.

5. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Compliance

• Implement workplace safety policies and ensure adherence.
• Conduct regular audits to identify and mitigate safety risks.
• Promote a culture of safety and well-being among employees.
