Job Description

The HRBP & Operations Analyst works to support overall Human Resources (HR) strategy initiatives by providing ongoing reporting and analyses, as needed, for the department. This role also supports assigned areas of business by providing coaching and guidance. The position provides analysis, guidance, and rigor around defining, modeling, and reporting of data related to Human Resources. The role will regularly and routinely collect, compile, and analyze Human Resources data, metrics, and statistics, and apply this data to make recommendations related to colleague relations, engagement, performance and talent management, retention, and additional project areas as needed.


What you will do

  • Provide HR guidance, coaching, and support to managers and colleagues, for assigned areas of business, in the areas of employee relations, legal compliance, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide first-level support for employee relations by guiding leaders and colleagues to resolve moderately complex employee relations issues; escalate to HR leader as needed for resolution.
  • Participate in organizational team workstreams; assist with the development and execution of key HR initiatives and programs.
  • Provide organizational design and business case review for assigned business units; work with Finance partners and leaders to ensure new positions, backfills, and compensation changes are reasonable, and within budget and guidelines.
  • Build and maintain positive internal and external relationships and collaborate with all cross-functional business partners to reach Company goals.
  • Conduct investigations as needed and ensure all documents are in order.
  • Conduct exit interviews; summarize as appropriate for trends, insights, etc.
  • Recommend process/HR service improvements, innovative solutions, procedures, policy revisions, and/or major variations from established policy.
  • Assist leaders with performance improvement plans, provide counsel as appropriate and ensure all documentation is in order.
  • Develop end-user procedures and training documents, as needed. Continually aspire to learn and develop in HR.
  • Manage specific projects as determined in the annual HR plan as well as participate in functional and cross functional initiatives.
  • Stay current on legislation and trends and maintain compliance.
  • Conduct other special projects as assigned.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Analyzes and performs statistical analysis on HR data based on requests from HR leadership. Recommend information for review based on key indicators. Identify trends, conduct root cause analysis, or suggest areas of improvement.
  • Design, develop and maintain HR analytical tools, reports, and dashboards in support of the overall HR strategic plan, data related initiatives and business reviews (MBR, QBR, etc.).
  • Collect and analyze existing human resources-related data from a variety of sources including human resources information system, talent management systems, and talent acquisition systems and other source data to support identified business objectives.
  • Based on metrics and analyses, makes recommendations for process improvement or new activities that improve the employment experience support development of well-rounded business cases to justify recommendations.
  • Ensures data integrity through HR data audits, data quality assessments and partnerships with the HRIS team and/or IT in the correction of source data or creation of translation sources, where applicable.
  • Support HR systems maintenance activities.
  • Ensures payroll files are processed and reviewed prior to submission; ensures all documentation is for exceptions. Reviews material with HR Director prior to submission.
  • Assists HR leadership with performance and compensation review through reporting and analysis activities.
  • Participates in auditing HR data requests and activities.
  • Partners with COEs and cross-functionally to ensure data is well-defined, accurate, and maintained.

What you will bring

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years experience in HR Operations, HR Analytics, and HR Generalist capacity
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, compliance, and employment laws
  • Bring best practice guidance as well as performing as a collaborative analytical person adept at developing customized approaches.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent skills in MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint, BI Tools with the ability to analyze data and create presentations.
  • Travel Required: Based on business need
