Senior Python Automation Developer - Selenium/PyTest (8-10 yrs)

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Automation Developer to join our IT company as a contractor.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Python programming, automation frameworks, and delivering high-quality solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Develop and implement automation scripts and frameworks using Python.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design automation solutions.

- Debug and troubleshoot automation scripts, identifying and resolving issues efficiently.

- Optimize and enhance existing automation workflows for better performance and scalability.

- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

- Maintain and update technical documentation for automation processes.

- Participate in planning and prioritizing automation tasks to meet project timelines.

- Integrate automation frameworks with CI/CD pipelines and other tools as needed.

Skills and Qualifications :

- Professional Experience : Minimum 8 years of experience in Python development with a focus on automation.

Technical Expertise :

- Proficiency in Python and its libraries (e., Pandas, NumPy, Selenium, PyTest).

- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and tools.

- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and practices.

- Version Control : Experience with Git and version control workflows.

- CI/CD Knowledge : Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment pipelines.

- Problem-Solving : Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.

- Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams.

Preferred Skills :

- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Experience with APIs and web automation.
