Intershop Developer - eCommerce Platform (5-6 yrs)

We are seeking a skilled Intershop Developer to design, develop, and optimize eCommerce solutions using the Intershop Commerce Suite.

This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-performing eCommerce platforms that meet business needs.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Develop, customize, and maintain eCommerce solutions using the Intershop Commerce Suite.

- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and business analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

- Optimize and enhance existing implementations to improve performance, scalability, and user experience.

- Integrate Intershop solutions with third-party tools such as payment gateways, ERP systems, and CRM platforms.

- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to the platform.

- Stay updated on the latest Intershop platform updates, tools, and best practices.

- Document technical specifications, workflows, and procedures to ensure smooth implementation and maintenance.

Skills and Qualifications Required :

- Hands-on experience with Intershop Commerce Suite development (5+ years).

- Proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, and related technologies.

- Experience with Intershop templates, pipelines, and cartridge development.

- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular (preferred).

- Proficiency in RESTful APIs, web services, and third-party integrations.

- Strong knowledge of database design and optimization (MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server).

- Understanding of eCommerce business processes and workflows.

Intershop certification (preferred) :

- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jenkins, Docker, and Git (preferred).

Soft Skills :

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Effective time-management and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Intershop certification is a plus.
