Elastic Path Developer - Java/Microservices Architecture (8-10 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

Solution Design and Architecture :

- Design scalable and high-performance eCommerce solutions using Elastic Path Commerce.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Development and Implementation :

- Develop and implement custom features and functionalities in Elastic Path.

- Integrate Elastic Path with various systems, including payment gateways, inventory management, and CRM systems.

API Management :

- Design and manage RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication between systems.

- Ensure API security, performance, and documentation best practices.

Performance Optimization :

- Monitor and optimize application performance to ensure fast response times and minimal downtime.

- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.

Testing and Quality Assurance :

- Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks for continuous integration and deployment.

- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and system testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Collaboration and Mentorship :

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, product managers, and QA engineers.

- Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices and coding standards.

Continuous Improvement :

- Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in eCommerce and Elastic Path.

- Proactively identify areas for improvement in existing solutions and processes.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

- 6+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Elastic Path Commerce.

- Proficiency in Java and familiarity with other programming languages (e.g, JavaScript, SQL).

- Experience with microservices architecture and cloud-based deployments (AWS, Azure).

- Strong understanding of eCommerce principles, payment processing, and order management systems
