IBM MDM Developer

We are seeking an experienced IBM MDM Developer / Consultant to design, implement, and manage Master Data Management (MDM) solutions using IBM InfoSphere MDM. The ideal candidate should have expertise in MDM architecture, data modeling, data integration, and governance while ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and compliance across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement IBM InfoSphere MDM solutions for managing customer, product, and entity master data.
Configure and customize MDM data models, business rules, and workflows based on business requirements.
Develop and integrate MDM services with enterprise applications using REST APIs, SOAP, Kafka, or MQ.
Implement data matching, survivorship, and golden record creation to ensure high-quality master data.
Work with IBM MDM Advanced Edition (AE), Standard Edition (SE), and Hybrid MDM implementations.
Develop MDM event processing, data stewardship, and exception handling workflows.
Optimize MDM performance, tuning, and batch processing for large-scale datasets.
Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory standards (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
Work with ETL tools (IBM DataStage, Informatica, Talend) and cloud-based data integration (Azure, AWS, GCP).
Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and IT teams to define MDM strategies and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
6+ years of experience in MDM implementation, data governance, and data integration.
Hands-on experience with IBM InfoSphere MDM (Advanced Edition & Standard Edition).
Strong knowledge of MDM data modeling, data matching, and survivorship rules.
Experience with Java, SQL, XML, JSON, and web services (REST/SOAP).
Proficiency in IBM MDM APIs, data cleansing, and quality processes.
Familiarity with IBM InfoSphere tools (DataStage, Information Analyzer, Governance Catalog).
Experience in data security, role-based access control (RBAC), and compliance regulations.
Strong understanding of ETL, data warehousing, and relational databases (DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
Knowledge of cloud-based MDM solutions and MDM integration with Big Data platforms.
Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
IBM Certified MDM Developer or Architect certification.
Experience with containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of AI/ML-driven data matching and entity resolution techniques.
Exposure to graph-based MDM solutions (Neo4j, Amazon Neptune, etc.).
