Job Description : SAP HANA Developer

Shift Timing : 2 : 00 PM to 11 : 00 PM IST.

Location : Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai, Pune, Gurgaon, Kolkata

Mode of Work : Hybrid

Experience : 3 to 8 years of hands-on experience with :

- SAP HANA Calculation Views (Graphical and Script-based).

- SAP HANA SQL programming for data analysis and development.

- Writing Functions and Stored Procedures in SAP HANA.

- Performance tuning and stress testing in SAP HANA.

Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced SAP HANA Developer with strong hands-on expertise in designing and developing SAP HANA solutions. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of SAP HANA Calculation Views, SQL programming, and database performance optimization. This is a client-facing role requiring excellent communication skills, and familiarity with Agile methodologies is desirable.

Key Responsibilities :

1. HANA Development and Design :

- Design, create, and optimize HANA Calculation Views (Graphical and Script-based).

- Translate business requirements and KPIs into HANA models and implement reporting layouts.

- Develop HANA SQL scripts, functions, and stored procedures to analyse and transform data.

2. Performance Optimization :

- Conduct performance tuning and stress testing to ensure optimized database operations.

- Define reusable frameworks, schemas, and tools for consistent and efficient development.

3. Data Integration :

- Work with SLT (SAP Landscape Transformation) for real-time data replication (Good to have).

- Integrate and process data for reporting tools such as SAP BusinessObjects (BO).

4. Agile Methodologies :

- Work collaboratively in Agile/Scrum environments to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure timely delivery.

5. ETL Knowledge (Optional) : Leverage ETL tools for data extraction, transformation, and loading processes (Good to have).

6. Client Interaction :

- Act as the point of contact for client discussions to gather requirements and provide updates.

- Communicate complex technical solutions in an understandable way for business users.

Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, MCA, or equivalent.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have) :

- Experience with SLT for real-time data replication.

- Proficiency in reporting tools such as SAP BusinessObjects (BO).

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Basic ETL tool knowledge.
