OBJECTIVE

Finance Site Head responsible for delivering on Cost and Compliance at the plant working with the plant team to achieve all KPI's of the plant

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The job holder is a custodian of all financial processes and Controls across all Haridwar plants

Provides benchmark analysis and evaluations on financial performance with Deviation analysis and Recovery with an objective to improve Site Financial results…

Ensures fiscal discipline across the Haridwar plants on cost and fiduciary

Controls ensuring nil leakages

Inventory is a major deliverable -consumption, custody and obsolescence

Prepare Plant wise Profitability on monthly basis for Operations

• Prepare Plant wise Profitability on monthly basis for Financial Reporting
• Prepare Plantwide Performance Highlights
• Co-ordinate & Partner with Corporate accounts, Tax, Commercial & Control team

- financial statement analysis

- costing analysis

- Inventory Report analysis.

• Performs and supports inventory management (including inventory reserve preparation) and cycle count process and will be finance point person for Inventory Verification related activities.
• Provides financial reporting and variance analysis to both plant head and corporate management teams.
• Handles Ad hoc reporting for Controller, Plant Manager, and Continues Improvement Teams (CIP), and other local management teams.
• Responsible for forecasting and budgeting process of Plant operations.
• Supports Month-end & ongoing reporting including Productivity, P&L, Balance Sheet, Capital Spending (CAPEX), Inventory, Reserves, Warranty, and Journal Entries.
• Perform costing activities for new products, BOM revisions, and quoting for Product Management Team.
• Verifying the accuracy of BOM and routing and highlighting areas of improvement.
• Analyse Material consumption, labour cost, monitoring the wastages and scraps accounting across plants
• Point of Contact between R&D Team, Plant Operations and Costing for the BOM/Routing definition and subsequent changes
• Point of Control for Plant Fixed Assets Control and Reporting in coordination with Plant Finance
• Drive SOP of Plant related activities in coordination with the Plant Finance Controllers
• Continuous review the processes across plants and drive standardization of the processes across plants
• Review Internal Audit Observations related to plant and coordinate with Plant Finance for corrective actions
• In-depth understanding of Cost Accounting
• Experience of handling Plant Accounts
• Experience in Variance Analysis and Financial Reporting
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel (e.g. V-lookups, Pivot tables etc.)
• Basic understanding of Microsoft products (Outlook, Live meeting, Word, and PowerPoint)
• High degree of accuracy and very detail oriented.
• In-depth understanding of Accounting/Finance concepts.
• Solid understanding of SAP or similar ERP system preferred
• Highly self-motivated individual who requires and prefers little guidance from manager.
• Excellent communications skills, including the ability to provide data in a concise and appropriate manner
