• Checking all systems / sub-systems in line with the construction as per P&ID, isometrics, GA drawings, OEM/vendor drawings and turnover from Construction to Operation.
• Pre-commissioning, Commissioning and Start Up of Phenol, cumene, and Olefins Conversion Unit (OCU) plants including utility and tank farm areas.
• Support in the production planning of Phenol, Cumene, Propylene and other byproducts and ensure adherence to production targets and product quality.
• Prepare daily and monthly production reports and evaluations of plant performance.
• Comply with all environment CPCB regulations, safety standards, and practices.
• Planning, control, and optimization of resource consumption.
• Initiate actions for cost reduction and productivity increase and benchmark the critical process parameters.
• Plan improvement steps related to plants and quality of products.
• Prepare and conduct periodic reviews of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for safe execution of plant operations.
• Coordination with other functions and stakeholders for debottlenecking production activities.
• Support accident / incident investigation and thereafter implementation of recommendations.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis of reported quality-related issues.
• Conceptualize new product developments and drive discussions with technology and Product development functions.
• Accountable for maintaining plant parameter records i.e. logbooks, log sheets, BEP, health, safety, maintenance, quality, etc.
• Manage and develop the team of Shift-in-charges, Panel Engineers and Field Members.
