Delivery Lead

Project Planning & Management:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, developers, designers, and business stakeholders, to define project objectives, scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.

Project Execution:

• Lead project teams and guide them in delivering high-quality educational technology products.
• Monitor and manage project progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues.
• Ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Agile & Team Leadership:

• Lead and coach Agile software development teams to ensure adherence to Agile principles and best practices.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive working environment.
• Set clear expectations and goals for team members and ensure their performance meets company standards.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture by promoting communication, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Resolve impediments and roadblocks to ensure team productivity.

Quality Assurance:

• Oversee testing and quality assurance processes to validate software functionality, and ensure that the products are reliable and meet the required standards.
• Ensure that the software development process adheres to quality standards and best practices.

Risk Management:

• Identify project risks and proactively address them to minimize potential disruptions.
• Create risk mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Manage project budgets, ensuring that projects are delivered within the allocated resources.

Reporting and Communication:

• Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.
• Regularly report on project progress and key performance indicators to senior management.
• Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders, keeping them informed about project progress, issues, and resolutions.
• Manage client expectations and ensure client satisfaction.
• Prepare and present project reports and metrics to demonstrate project performance.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify areas for process improvement and develop strategies to enhance project delivery efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to streamline delivery processes and increase efficiency.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest educational technology trends and best practices.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Software Delivery Lead in an Agile software development environment.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software development methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.
• Certifications, such as PMP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or SAFe Agilist, are added advantages.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience with project management tools and software.
