Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Solar PV Engineer to join our team. The Solar PV Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for various projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, renewable energy systems, and solar PV technology. They will be adept at conducting feasibility studies, performing system design calculations, overseeing installation processes, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine the viability of solar PV installations.
Design solar PV systems based on project requirements, including system layout, component selection, and electrical configurations.
Perform detailed engineering calculations to ensure system performance, efficiency, and reliability.
Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and documentation for solar PV projects.
Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and stakeholders to procure materials and equipment necessary for project implementation.
Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of solar PV systems, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions during all phases of project development and operation.
Conduct performance evaluations and monitoring of installed solar PV systems to optimize efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
Stay updated on advancements in solar PV technology, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, sales representatives, and maintenance personnel, to achieve project goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a related field. Master s degree preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in solar PV system design, installation, and maintenance.
Strong knowledge of solar PV technology, components, and system integration principles.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
