Job summary: In this role, you will ensure efficient and reliable integration of our renewable energy sources into the national grid. You will coordinat e with various stakeholders, including government agencies, renewable energy developers, and regulatory bodies, to facilitate the seamless transmission of electricity generated from these renewable sources.
Responsibilities
Stakeholder Coordination : Collaborate with government agencies, renewable energy developers, CTUIL and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with CERC and various states regulations and renewable energy policies;
Grid Integration: Develop strategies for the integration of renewable energy sources into the national grid, addressing technical and regulatory challenges;
Regulatory Compliance : Ensure all Grid integration activities for renewable generation comply with national and regional regulations and policies;
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with integration of renewable energy projects with the national or state Grids
Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and present reports to senior management and regulatory bodies on the strategies and planning for the renewable energy projects integration with the National Grid.
Permits and Approvals: Coordination with Grid-India, PGCIL, CTUIL CEA for various approvals and permits for the effective and efficient evacuation of renewable energy generation.
Qualifications skills
Bachelor/Master s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field;
Minimum of 8 years of experience in transmission system planning and operations;
Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale renewable energy projects will be an added advantage.
In-depth understanding of renewable energy integration, CERC regulations, and grid operations;
Strong project management, leadership, and communication skills.
Proficiency in transmission system software and tools;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment;
PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
