Role Overview:

As a Python AI/ML Developer at Gyrus.ai, you will design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and AI solutions that drive impactful outcomes for our clients. You will work alongside a team of data scientists, engineers, and product managers to deliver robust, scalable, and efficient AI-driven products.

Key Responsibilities:

Model Development & Deployment:

• Design, develop, and train machine learning models using Python and frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Optimize and deploy models into production environments, ensuring scalability and performance.

Data Preparation & Analysis:

Process, clean, and analyze structured and unstructured data to prepare it for model training.

Implement feature engineering techniques to improve model performance.

Algorithm Development:

• Build algorithms for predictive analytics, classification, regression, and other machine learning tasks.
• Continuously experiment with and improve existing models to achieve higher accuracy, precision, and recall.

Integration of Models:

• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate ML models into applications and systems using REST APIs.
• Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) to deploy and monitor AI/ML solutions.

Performance Monitoring:

• Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics and improve them through hyperparameter tuning and optimization.
• Monitor deployed models for drift and retrain them periodically to ensure effectiveness.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with data engineers, product managers, and front-end developers to align technical deliverables with business objectives.
• Communicate complex ML concepts and results to non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with libraries like NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
• Experience in building, training, and deploying models for tasks like classification, regression, NLP, and computer vision.
• Strong skills in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and working with large datasets.
• Experience building and integrating REST APIs using frameworks like Flask or FastAPI.
• Familiarity with deploying models on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker.
• Proficiency in TensorFlow, PyTorch, or equivalent frameworks for deep learning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on real-world implementation.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of MLOps practices (model versioning, monitoring, CI/CD pipelines).
• Experience with SQL and databases for data storage and retrieval.
• Familiarity with big data tools like Spark or Dask.
• Exposure to NLP libraries (spaCy, HuggingFace Transformers) or computer vision frameworks (OpenCV, YOLO).
• Understanding of data visualization tools like Matplotlib or Seaborn.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or a related field.
• 2-8 years of experience as a Python Developer, AI/ML Developer, or similar role.
• Experience working on end-to-end machine learning projects is a plus.
