We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Professional with 1 to 7 years of experience in sales and business development. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of generating leads, exceeding sales targets, and building strong client relationships, particularly in Technical Professional Services.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Prepare and execute a strategic business development plan to achieve assigned targets and build a strong sales pipeline.
  • Lead Generation: Independently generate leads through proactive outreach, including cold calling, networking, public outreach, and speaking engagements.
  • Client Engagement: Execute business-to-business outreach to key decision-makers in target accounts across identified markets.
  • Needs Analysis: Conduct in-depth discussions to identify business pain points, funding availability, and decision authority.
  • Value Proposition: Present a clear, compelling, and solution-oriented explanation of our unique value proposition to clients at various organizational levels.
  • Proposal Creation: Develop concise, customized proposals based on client needs and identified solutions during the sales process.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, fostering trust and driving long-term customer growth.
  • Negotiations: Handle proposal timelines, budgets, and agreements with clients and partners, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Collaboration: Work with internal teams to craft marketing collateral, deliver presentations, and organize events to drive awareness and interest.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates to management, including pipeline status, lead generation progress, and achievement of quotas.
  • Travel: Be open to occasional travel for client meetings, events, or business opportunities.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Experience: 4 to 10 years of experience in business development and/or sales, specifically in Professional Services.
  • Track Record: Proven success in developing qualified leads and consistently surpassing assigned sales quotas.
  • Communication: Good written, verbal communication, and presentation skills; ability to articulate competitive advantages effectively.
  • Client Interaction: Experience conversing with and selling to clients at various levels of management, including senior executives.
  • Solution Sales: Ability to take a strategic, solution-oriented approach to align our offerings with client needs.
  • Technical Awareness: Skilled at distilling technical features into business benefits that resonate with target audiences.
  • Relationship Management: Demonstrated success in managing partner relationships and fostering client growth.
  • Leadership: Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence and manage client and partner expectations effectively.
  • Self-Driven: Independent, highly motivated, and goal-oriented professional who thrives under minimal supervision.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills with great attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
