11Role Objectives : Plannng and billing engineer has to be through with planning, communication, and billing process to ensure successful execution of engineering and construction projects. He should be aware of project planning, estimation and cost, BBS (Bar Bending Schedule), Rate analysis as per as DAR and market rate etc.

12Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs):

• Analyse project plans, specifications, and drawings
• Preparation of DPR by daily updation of WIP status.
• Communicating effectively with the project team members.
• Understanding the timeline and costing of the project. .
• Maintain technical drawing records.
• Should understand the bill of quantity as per the contract agreement
• Prepare and submit client bills as per the BOQ.
• Reconciliation of contractor bills
• Preparing summary, abstract, advice-billing
• Coordinate with the contractor & site engineer for joint site measurement verification.
• Maintain all records of billing work Follow up with the client billing person for timely release of the RA Bill.
• Should be made a proper debit note (if any) from a store for the subcontractors bill
• He should be well conversant with the measurement mode as per IS Codes.
• The candidate should be good at MS Excel, word.
• The candidate should be familiar with ERP software.
• Experience in ERP Software will be an advantage.

• Tracks % of projects completed on or ahead of schedule.
• Identifying deadlines and milestones for avoiding project overrun
• Ensure timely preparation & submission of bill.
• Identify area of concern.

14Preferred Sources (Preferred Industry Background) : Civil or Mechanical Construction/Projects/EPC project

15Preferred Sources (Preferred companies) : L&T, Gannon Dunkerley, IRB, Simplex, BGR, GMR, GVK, Alhuwalia Construction or other EPC contractor

16Preferred Qualities* : Knowledge of construction technology
* EPC Industry Experience
* Project management and associated project control tools
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Knowlege of IS code
* Strong inter personnel skills
* Working knowledge of MS Office Suite
