Capex Excellence Lead @ Noida

Role & responsibilities

• Lead all Value Realization Initiatives for GFL on going capex across GFL.
• Reduce Time Over-run
• Reduce Cost Over-run
• Validation of the Capex projects assumption considerations and cost consideration.
• Support in Realistic Schedule preparation for ongoing Capex projects.
• Support in Detailed engineering inputs of the capex projects.
• Support in Risk Assessment of projects through stakeholder mapping.
• To support in preparation of Project RFQ, tendering and Technical Comparisons.
• To support in detailed rate benchmarking/Zero based rate analysis for the major procurement items of projects.
• To support in Vendor evaluation process in terms of Quality Of Work & timely completion of work.
• Support in Project Review meeting through On-site progress mapping of each project.
• Preparation of Projects MIS reports (Weekly/Fortnightly/Monthly Basis) in terms of milestone wise progress.
• Tracking of Projects Cost in terms of actual spent and yet to be committed items for project.
• Identify areas of improvement for projects through data-driven insights.
• Closely working with various consultants for implementation/validation of various projects.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams of Projects i.e. Project Planning/Detailed Engineering/Project Execution.
• Lead Digitization journey for Projects Schedule analytics/Projects Monitoring/Project Review.
• Coordinate for Project Hand over & Take over process through structured checklists in time bound manner.
• Coordinate for Projects closure reports & Lessons learned report.
• Engineering support to projects team as per need basis.
• Implementation of Change Management in Projects.
• To support in Safety Review process & Quality Assurance process of Projects.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Exposure to Projects Execution (piping/equipment/structure etc.) for large scale projects (> 100 Cr projects)

2. Exposure to chemical process industry.

3. Good Exposure Project Management (PMO).

4. Hands on working in Cost Saving Initiatives/Business Transformation Initiatives.

5. Good exposure in Digitization initiatives/Industry 4.0 tools.

6. Hands on Experience on various SAP modules (particularly IMPS)

7. Hands on experience of Techno-commercial comparison & Business case development.

8. Strong Analytical & problem-solving skills.

9. Strong Business Acumen & Understanding on Change Management.

10. Good at Excel/Power BI/MS Projects/Other relevant software.

11. Good understanding on P&I drawings/Layout drawings/Isometric drawings.

12. Collaborative approach with cross-function team (Prior consulting experience will be preferred).
