Job Description: Hardware Support Engineer

Position: Hardware Support Engineer

Experience: 2-3yrs
Location: Pashan, Pune
Department: Printer Support Services
Reports to: IT Support Manager or Hardware Support Engineer

Objective:

First level problem diagnosis and resolution, including call escalation in the event a problem cannot be resolved on site.

Deliverables:

a) Should resolve minimum 15-20 calls per day of 2-3 hrs duration each.

b) Install, configure and standardize the printer hardware and software for efficient use.

c) Diagnose, identify and resolve calls related to printer hardware failure. (Approx. 700+)

d) Maintain inventory for backup in case hardware issue is not solvable at local level.

e) Carry out preventive maintenance of all printers every six months and provide compliance reports.

f) Provide status report / action taken report on daily, weekly and monthly basis.
