Security Officer

Role & responsibilities

• Manage Security Department across organisation.
• Manage Fire & Safety across organisation.
• Should give vigilance report to management. ( Weekly Basis )
• Visit all sites as per schedule by HOD.
• Monitor the plant movement with the assistance
• Timely escalation of critical information to GM Admin in order to arrest the issue or incident
• Handling of incident or supporting events along with Duty Security
• Should adhere to all types of duties pertaining to Security & Surveillance as per requirement at Plant
• Monitoring of CCTV cameras to assist with the detection of theft/pilferage, antisocial behaviour and to support the reduction of crime, disorder and the fear of crime
• Maintain a close liaison with the GM Admin & Duty Security Supervisor in relation to any incidents identified at Plant
• Monitor, operate and communicate using all forms of equipment
• Should have strong observation skills and should be able to identify distrustful movements in premises & manufacturing Unit/Warehouses
• Developing and implementing security policies, protocols and procedures
• Attend meetings with other managers to determine operational needs
• Plan and coordinate security operations for specific events
• Coordinate staff when responding to emergencies and alarms
• Review reports on incidents and breaches
• Investigate and resolve issues
• Create reports for management on security status
• Analyze data to form proposals for improvements (e.g. implementation of new technology)
