IBM Sterling OMS Developer

Experience: 5+ Years

Skills: OMS Sterling, Sterling Commerce, Java

Roles and Responsibilities:

• More than 5 years of experience in IBM Sterling suite as Lead, Developer and support roles .
• Expertise in implementing IBM Sterling OMS solution to support multi-brand, multi-region, multi-channel initiatives.
• Sound knowledge of key Foundation modules like Distributed Order Management, Supply Collaboration, Global Inventory Visibility, Payment Processing, Reverse Logistics
• Deep knowledge with RCP COM, RCP SOM and Web store application frameworks
• Knowledge of cloud technologies, web technologies, application servers like WebLogic and WebSphere.
• Experience in integrating IBM Sterling OMS with eCommerce systems, Product management Systems, Payment Gateway, Tax engine, Fraud solution, WMS etc
• Knowledge / experience in Omnichannel eCommerce implementation.
• Solid understanding of core Java, servlets , web services (REST & SOAP), Batch, SFTP, API Gateways
• Experience in developing Java-based extensions and integration interfaces for Sterling OMS
• Familiarity with full stack, including protocols and web server optimization techniques
• Rich experience in gathering functional requirements, defining custom interfaces, data flow diagrams and functional designs.
• Responsible for analyzing and documenting business needs, system integration, solution design / mapping and data requirements.
• Good planning and time management skills and ability to multitask many different priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction
• Strong sense of accountability and ownership.
