US Taxation Reviewer - CPA/EA

We are seeking a skilled and experienced accounting professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for advanced accounting duties and tax preparation for our clients. This role requires a strong understanding of US tax laws, GAAP, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professional ethics.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review complex tax returns (1040, 1120, 1120S, and other specialized forms)
• Conduct internal audits and financial reviews
• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Oversee bookkeeping processes and ensure accuracy of financial records
• Manage payroll processing, including complex tax calculations and deductions
• Reconcile accounts and resolve sophisticated financial discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
• Collaborate with US-based team members on various accounting projects
• Contribute to the development and improvement of internal financial processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or related field
• Active CPA license, EA certification, or CA qualification in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience
• In-depth knowledge of US tax laws, GAAP, and accounting best practices
• Advanced proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, CCH, Thomson Reuters)
• Strong analytical skills and experience with data analytics tools
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to continuing professional education and staying current with industry changes

Schedule

• Evening shift (3:30 PM to 1:00 AM)

Experience

• CPA licensed and practicing, EA certification, or CA qualification: 2+ years (Required)
• Accounting experience: 2+ years (Required)
• Advanced QuickBooks: 2+ years (Preferred)
• Total relevant work experience: 2+ years (Required)
