US IT Recruiter

Roles and Responsibilities

• Source, screen, and interview IT professionals for positions with state government clients.
• Utilize various recruitment channels such as job boards (Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, LinkedIn, etc.), networking, and social media to identify top talent.
• Experience with ATS Ciepal.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future positions.
• Work closely with Account Managers and Clients to understand job requirements and hiring needs.
• Negotiate compensation packages, including pay rates, benefits, and terms of employment.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to onboarding.
• Maintain applicant tracking system (ATS) with accurate and up-to-date candidate information.
• Strong understanding of US work authorizations (W2, C2C, 1099, GC, H1B, OPT, CPT, etc.)
• Familiarity with IT technologies and industry trends
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Prior experience in recruiting for state goverment clients
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 2-4 years of experience in IT staffing (US Recruitment) with a focus on W2/Contract-to-Hire/Permanent Placement.
• Bachelor's degree in Any Specialization (B.Tech/B.E.).
• Strong understanding of US IT market trends, technologies, and industry verticals.
• Proficiency in using tools like Ceipal, Vector, State clients, Direct client handling.
