Lead - Regulatory Compliance - Seeds Department - Agri Startup (5-12 yrs)

We are currently retained by leading Agri startup (Well-funded and established) to hire a Regulatory Compliance lead (Seeds) for them.

As a Regulatory Compliance lead you will be responsible for compliance management, develop & maintain compliance policies, quality control, liaise with regulatory authorities, certification & training, seed testing, and quality control for their seeds business.

The person will work with internal teams to meet various regulatory requirements for seeds.

Please Note: This role require someone with extensive experience of seed related regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage Regulatory Compliance and stay updated on seed regulations.

- Ensure compliance and labelling, packaging, and documentation requirements of Seeds.

- Liaise with regulatory authorities.

- Implement and maintain quality control processes for seed production, processing, and storage.

- Develop and implement compliance policies, procedures and SOPs.

- Coordinate with certification agencies and ensure testing.

- Collaborate with cross functional teams and monitor & analyzation of changes in regulations.

To fit the bill, you must have:

- Degree in Agronomy, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or related field.

- 5+ years of experience in seed industry compliance or quality control.

- Certification in compliance or quality management will be preferred.

- Excellent communication, organizational and presentation skills.

- Knowledge of seed regulations, quality control, and certification standards.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
