Technology Lead - B2B SaaS Startup (10-15 yrs)

We are retained by a leading B2B SaaS start-up to hire a Technology Lead to lead and ensure the successful execution of the product roadmap, maintaining high standards of performance, security, and innovation for them.

The role focuses on aligning engineering strategy with business goals, advancing DevOps practices, ensuring platform reliability, and embedding security into development processes. The role requires a strategic thinker with the ability to scale teams, drive collaboration, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute the engineering strategy aligned with business goals, collaborating with senior leadership on the product and technology roadmap.

- Lead Engineering, QA, SRE, DevOps, and Information Security teams for optimal performance, while overseeing Product Management and UI/UX for cross-functional collaboration.

- Manage engineering execution, balancing new feature delivery with innovation, technical debt reduction, and platform stability.

- Implement DevOps and SRE practices for product reliability and enhance QA processes to ensure quality throughout development.

- Partner with Information Security to protect technology and data, ensuring compliance and embedding security into the development lifecycle.

- Work with Product, Marketing, and Business teams to design scalable solutions for business challenges.

- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to foster innovation, while promoting a culture of experimentation and learning.

To fit the bill, you must have:

- Engineering + MBA degree from a tier 1 college with 10+ years of engineering leadership experience.

- Proven ability to manage large, cross-functional teams across Product Management, UI/UX, Engineering, QA, SRE, DevOps, and Information Security.

- Extensive software development and operations experience, with a strong grasp of modern cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Experience of leading and scaling engineering teams for a SaaS company.

- Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards like SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR is preferred.
