M&A Data Analyst (3-6 yrs)

Responsibilities:

- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources related to M&A transactions.

- Develop and maintain financial models and valuation analyses.

- Conduct due diligence on target companies, including financial, operational, and commercial analysis.

- Prepare presentations and reports summarizing key findings and insights for senior management.

- Support the deal execution process, including data room management and information requests.

- Assist in post-merger integration activities, including data integration and synergy analysis.

- Research industry trends and competitive landscapes.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including investment bankers, lawyers, and accountants.

- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to strict ethical standards.

- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains in data analysis.

- Stay updated on M&A best practices and regulatory changes.

Required Skills: Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

- 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in M&A, investment banking, or private equity.

- Strong proficiency in Excel, including financial modeling and data manipulation techniques (pivot tables, vlookups, macros).

- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.

- Solid understanding of financial statements and accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS).

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
