Backend Developer - Python/Django (3-8 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend systems using Python and Django.

- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for both internal and external consumption.

- Work with relational databases (such as PostgreSQL, MySQL) using Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) techniques.

- Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code adhering to best practices.

- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.

- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, product managers, and QA engineers.

- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers.

- Troubleshoot and debug issues effectively.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry best practices.

Requirements :

- 4+ years of professional experience in backend development.

- Strong proficiency in Python and Django.

- Expertise in designing and developing RESTful APIs.

- Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and experience with ORM.

- Proficiency in version control systems, especially Git.

- Strong understanding of software development principles, including testing (unit tests, integration tests), code quality, and code review processes.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pluses :

- Experience with AWS, Docker, or other cloud and containerization technologies.

- Familiarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).

- Experience with message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka).

- Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
