Community Manager

We are looking for a Community Manager to oversee the migration and management of our community from WhatsApp to the Discourse platform. This role will enhance user engagement, ensure effective content moderation, and provide support to community members.

Key Responsibilities:

Community Migration

• Manage the transition from WhatsApp to Discourse, including user onboarding and troubleshooting.
• Develop strategies to encourage user migration and ensure a seamless experience.

Engagement and Growth

• Implement strategies to boost activity on Discourse through regular content and community events.
• Set and monitor engagement metrics, ensuring targets are met.

Content Moderation

• Moderate discussions to maintain a constructive community tone and swiftly resolve conflicts.

User Support

• Provide timely assistance to community members, addressing questions and concerns.
• Collect feedback on user experiences to drive improvements on the platform.

Social Media Management

• Manage the community's social media presence, promoting Discourse content and aligning with broader company messaging.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in community management specifically on the Discord platform.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to user support.
