About Role: We are seeking a highly motivated Chartered Accountant (CA) with 1-2 years of experience to act as a bridge between the company and various lenders. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all pre- and post-disbursement requirements, including financial covenants and compliance obligations, are met efficiently. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, excitement to raise funds for start ups, and the ability to effectively liaise with financial institutions.
Key responsibilities:
Lender Coordination & Compliance:
● Serve as the primary/secondary point of contact between the company and various lenders, including banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions.
● Ensure timely submission of financial reports, compliance documents, and other required information to lenders.
● Coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary documentation and ensure adherence to loan agreement terms.
● Address lender queries and provide clarifications as required.
Pre-Disbursement Requirements:
● Facilitate the completion of all due diligence and documentation required for loan disbursements.
● Ensure compliance with conditions precedent (CP) before fund disbursement.
● Assist in the preparation and review of financial models, projections, and loan application documents.
● Work closely with legal and finance teams to ensure smooth execution of loan agreements.
Post-Disbursement Monitoring:
● Monitor and ensure adherence to financial covenants, reporting obligations, and repayment schedules.
● Track key loan terms, including interest rate adjustments, EMI payments, and any restructuring requirements.
● Prepare and submit periodic compliance reports and financial statements as per lender requirements.
● Identify potential covenant breaches and proactively work on remedial measures with lenders and internal teams.
Financial Analysis & Reporting:
● Assist in financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting to support lender requirements.
● Prepare MIS reports and dashboards to track loan utilization and covenant compliance.
● Support in internal and external audits related to borrowing arrangements.
Qualifications & Skills:
● Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
● 1-3 years of experience in financial management, lender relations, or corporate finance.
● Strong understanding of loan agreements, financial covenants, and regulatory compliance on debt fund raise.
● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and accounting software.
● Strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively liaise with lenders.
● Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
