About the Role:

Role Summary:

  • As a proficient Anaplan specialist, the role involves overseeing and executing key financial planning and analysis tasks to ensure accurate and efficient reporting.
  • The responsibilities include running monthly reporting packs for various departments, processing forecast changes based on stakeholder meetings, and loading customer-level actuals into Anaplan.
  • The position collaborates closely with the FP&A Manager to complete quarterly GREP KPIs and monthly GIM KPIs within the Anaplan platform.
  • Additionally, this role serves as the primary administrator for Europe's Anaplan module, taking charge of its functionality and performance.
  • The individual is also responsible for preparing comprehensive materials for half-year reforecast and business plan presentations, offering vital support to the FP&A Manager and Controller as needed.
  • Overall, the role demands a keen eye for detail, strong Anaplan proficiency, and effective collaboration with key stakeholders to ensure the success of financial planning and analysis activities.

Key Role Responsibilities:

  • Fully trained and proficient in the use of Anaplan.
  • Business partnering with the accounting team on monthly Actuals v Budget variance analysis..
  • Assist with forecast changes throughout the year and the risk and opportunities tracker
  • Maintain a clean and up-to-date customer record.
  • Maintain a clean and up-to-date fund record.
  • Load monthly customer level actuals directly into Anaplan.
  • Work with the accounting team to maintain the management fee tracker, corporate revenue summaries and dashboard.
  • Work with FP&A Manager to complete quarterly GREP KPIs and monthly GIM KPIs in Anaplan.
  • Be the key admin lead for Europes Anaplan module.
  • Prepare all relevant roll over material for half year reforecast and business plan. (e.g. PPT).
  • Support FP&A Manager and Controller where required.

  • Follows established policies and procedures by monitoring and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, organisational standards, and operational processes related to area(s) of responsibility and reporting violations or infractions to appropriate individual(s).
  • Demonstrates appropriate safe behaviours in accordance with Company, property, and departmental policies, procedures, and standards by immediately reporting any mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions, employee/visitor/resident injuries or accidents, or other safety issues to appropriate individual(s).
  • Identifies areas for improvement, offers suggestions to improve efficiency and productivity, and implements ideas that achieve operational excellence.
  • Keeps abreast of current changes in technology, processes, and standards within the industry and area(s) of responsibility by attending internal and external training classes.

Role Scope:

  • This role will provide support to the UK & European Business

The role will engage closely and frequently with the Greystars Regional / International systems team to ensure integrity of the database and common working practices.

About You

Knowledge & Qualifications:

  • Good level of general education with strong written and numerical skills
  • Accounting foundation background
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel with experience building financial models/reports.
  • Demonstratable PowerPoint experience.
  • Post graduate degree in Management Accountancy, Chartered Accountant or equivalent
  • Experience of Anaplan is essential.
  • Experience of Oracle is desirable.
  • Good problem solver with intellectual curiosity.

Experience & Skills:

Essential:

  • Experience of working in a similar role within a fast paced multi-jurisdictional business ideally within the Real Estate sector
  • Demonstratable experience in using Anaplan.
  • Strong presentation of financial information - written and verbal.
  • Strong team working and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manipulate and sort large volume of data in excel
  • Good communicator, with the ability to interpret and complex financial data.
  • Positive can do” attitude with desire to learn, train and develop in the role
  • Good attention to detail, taking pride in work
  • Self-starter with a methodical and organised approach
  • Ability to work to deadlines and multitask, using initiative to prioritise
