QA Tester

Role & responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases to ensure product quality.
• Perform functional, regression, performance, security, and usability testing across web and mobile applications.
• Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Trello.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth releases.
• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI.
• Implement and manage test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Ensure compliance with industry best practices and security standards.
• Analyze test results, generate reports, and provide insights to improve software performance.
• Develop and maintain test plans, test scripts, and documentation.
• Participate in agile/scrum meetings and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
