Enlisting new products and making it SEO (search engine optimization) friendly
Dealing/ negotiating with suppliers
Lead planning budgeting for merchandise procurement
Managing the online business and reacting to current trends to deliver optimum sales and margin results
Planning and developing the product range and finalizing the pricing strategy for products
Develop and execute strategy for growth within category
Collaborating with the leadership team to establish strategic plans and focused objectives for continued online growth and development
Identifying and building on business opportunities that arise from sales performance/trend analysis
Required Skills Experience
The right candidate for this job will have strong interpersonal and communication skills and will work well in a fast-paced team setting. A passion for online shopping is essential
Minimum 2 years experience in ecommerce and/or social media. Candidates should be well-versed and interested in gardening, landscaping and all this green.
Solid merchandise analysis experience and the understanding of how to drive insights from web analytics
Advanced Excel skills
Excellent communication skills; experience with building and managing small teams
Photography and Photoshop skills will be an added bonus
Strong attention to detail and solid organizational, time management and follow-up skills
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively within a team and across an organization
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Demonstrate a sense of urgency in resolving customer service issues
Ability to work efficiently in a collaborative setting or independently with minimal supervision
