Job Purpose:

The role leads content portfolio for the cluster channels. The role holder drives consumer centric approach to content strategy for the cluster with key objective of increasing the viewership base for all channels in the cluster.

Roles and Responsibility:

1. Individual Accountabilities:

- Directs the development and implementation of strategic roadmap for channels in cluster.

- Enforce strong consumer focus within the cluster through 'Soul to Screen' approach. Focus on capturing viewer's share of mind through great stories and content that connect with them.

- Establish agile processes to identify trends on consumption of content across genres and consumer segments and ensure that content strategy is accordingly calibrated.

- Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth w.r.t. GRPs.

- Manages potential channel conflict with other verticals by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement.

- Deliver business results with excellence with non TV Delivery/Banking/Brand Solution (BS) and future ready solutions.

- Explore technology that can automate key processes/areas and can be democratized within the function to reduce operational cost.

2. Content Delivery and Management:

- Analyse channel, show and slot wise data on GRPs and reach of the respective show and recommend actions based on the insights to ensure GRP maximization.

- Conduct assessments to gauge content effectiveness and recommend actions to content production teams.

- Ensure that all content delivered through the portfolio channels are consistent in terms of style, quality, tone and optimized for user experience.

3. Revenue Growth:

- Partner with Sales by leveraging strong market share of channels and the network to maximize revenues and position company as key partner for existing and prospective clients.

4. People and Capability Development:

- Promote strong consumer focus, data analysis capability and strategic thinking ability and encourage professional entrepreneurship and calculated risk taking within the team.

5. Key Shared Accountabilities:

- Partners with revenue team to develop content strategy and deliver revenue goals.

- Partner with research team to gain insights on consumer behavior based on internal and external data.
