Asst. Manager / Manager - Quality Assurance

Role & responsibilities :

• To ensure engine assembly, testing & CSR process & product inspection being followed as per SOP/testing standards. To review check sheets, in-process inspection & final inspection reports of engines for assembly, testing & CSR.
• To review daily in-house rejection at engine Assembly, Testing & CSR and insisting actions from concerns stake holders.
• Checking Millipore of engines critical components like Crank shaft, crankcase etc. as per plan.
• To monitor & maintain daily First Time Right data of cold & hot engine testing.
• Responsible for product & Process Audit planning & compliance for engine Assembly, testing & CSR.
• To support Third party engine inspection to ensure compliance with QAP and regulations as per marketing & PPC communication.
• To ensure engine PDI inspection as per dispatch plan & maintain the records.
• To track & maintain change management system for Engineering & Process Change.
• To analyze & initiate corrective action/8D along with plant CFT for process related customer & field complaints.
• To prepare monthly MIS for engine assembly & testing.

Preferred candidate profile

• B.E. with 8 yrs of experience in engine manufacturing process.
• Should be aware of QMS requirements of ISO 9001 Or TS 16949.
• Exposure of quality core tools like MSA, SPC , APQP, PPAP & FMEA
• Exposer to 7 QC tools, 8D problem solving approach, why-why analysis
• Engine testing and trouble shooting knowledge.
• Customer handling or External inspection agency handling.
