Role Overview:
The Senior Manager SEO will be the strategic leader of the SEO team, responsible for driving revenue generation through organic search and leading the evolution of our SEO strategies. This role requires a visionary approach to SEO, with a focus on scaling the organic growth of the company, developing new ideas and initiatives, and leveraging AI-augmented search technologies like AIO, GEO, CEO, and LMO. The 2. Senior Manager SEO will own the broader SEO strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals, and will focus on strategic growth, implementing innovative initiatives, and generating substantial ROI.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic SEO Leadership & Revenue Generation Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive SEO strategy focused on driving organic traffic, revenue, and market share growth.
2. Leverage AI-driven SEO techniques, including AIO, GEO, CEO, and LMO, to create scalable strategies that deliver measurable results.
3. Develop strategies to drive revenue through organic search, ensuring SEO initiatives contribute directly to the company's revenue goals.
4. Innovate and propose new ideas for SEO strategies, initiatives, and content optimization to stay ahead of industry trends, especially in AI-driven search.
AI-Driven SEO Strategy Development:
1. Design and implement strategies that leverage AI for AI Optimization (AIO), Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), Chat Engine Optimization (CEO), and Language Model Optimization (LMO).
2. Drive the team's efforts to optimize content for AI-powered search engines, ensuring high visibility across LLM platforms and traditional search engines.
3. Continuously evaluate how AI and machine learning technologies can enhance SEO strategies to maximize organic traffic and business outcomes.
Cross-Functional Coordination & Team Leadership:
1. Collaborate with product, tech, and content teams to scale SEO initiatives and ensure alignment with business objectives.
2. Take ownership of major SEO initiatives, guiding the team on how to execute on ideas for scaling organic traffic and driving revenue generation.
3. Provide leadership and mentorship to the SEO team, ensuring professional growth and high performance.
Backlink & Content Strategy for Authority Growth:
1. Lead the team in creating effective backlink acquisition strategies through trusted, high-authority websites.
2. Develop content strategies that resonate with target audiences, optimize for SEO, and attract valuable backlinks.
3. Oversee content creation across social media, YouTube, and other platforms to improve brand visibility and organic reach.
Advanced Analytics & Reporting:
1. Analyze organic search performance data, identifying trends, opportunities, and potential challenges.
2. Use data to drive agile decision-making and optimize SEO strategies, making adjustments to meet changing market conditions.
3. Provide visibility into SEO performance, reporting on progress toward revenue and lead generation targets, while refining strategies for continuous improvement.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
1. 10+ years of SEO experience with a strong focus on strategy, revenue generation.
2. Deep knowledge of AI-driven search techniques, including AIO, GEO, CEO, and LMO, and the impact of these technologies on SEO strategies.
3. Proven success in driving organic traffic and revenue generation through SEO strategies.
4. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams to achieve SEO and business objectives.
5. Expertise in developing content strategies for SEO and implementing backlink acquisition campaigns.
6. Excellent understanding of advanced SEO analytics and performance tracking tools, with a strong data-driven mindset.
