Dispatch Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Dispatch Manager with expertise in Tally software to oversee the dispatch operations of our company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the dispatch team, coordinating shipments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. This role requires strong logistical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Tally for inventory and financial management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Dispatch Operations Management:
   
• Oversee the daily dispatch operations, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of goods.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff, logistics partners, and customers to manage shipment schedules and resolve any issues.
2. Inventory and Stock Management:
   
• Use Tally software to track inventory levels, manage stock movements, and maintain accurate records.
• Conduct regular stock audits to ensure inventory accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
3. Team Supervision:
   
• Manage and supervise the dispatch team, including drivers and warehouse staff.
• Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide training to improve efficiency and productivity.
4. Documentation and Record Keeping:
   
• Prepare and maintain dispatch-related documents such as delivery notes, invoices, and shipment records.
• Ensure all documentation is accurately entered into Tally for proper accounting and reporting.
5. Coordination and Communication:
   
• Liaise with sales, customer service, and procurement teams to ensure smooth coordination of orders and deliveries.
• Communicate with customers regarding delivery schedules, delays, or issues.
6. Compliance and Safety:
   
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
• Implement and monitor safety procedures for dispatch operations to prevent accidents and ensure the wellbeing of staff.
7. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
   
• Monitor dispatch performance metrics, such as delivery times, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
• Generate reports using Tally and other tools to analyze dispatch operations and identify areas for improvement.
8. Continuous Improvement:
   
• Identify opportunities to streamline dispatch processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance the dispatch function.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 2-4 years of experience in dispatch or logistics management, preferably with knowledge of Tally software.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tally ERP software for inventory and financial management. Knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple shipments and deadlines.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective coordination and customer service.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address operational challenges and improve processes.
