Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Dynamics 365 Techno-Functional Consultant
specializing in finance to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing,
implementing, and supporting D365 Finance modules to meet the unique needs of our business
operations. This role requires a balance of functional expertise in finance processes and
technical proficiency in configuring and customizing D365.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Responsibilities:
● Analyze and document finance workflows, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts
Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets, Budgeting, and Financial
Reporting.
● Collaborate with finance teams to gather requirements and translate them into system
functionalities.
● Configure D365 Finance modules to align with business processes and compliance
requirements.
● Provide subject matter expertise on best practices for finance operations in Dynamics
365.
● Support month-end and year-end financial closing processes through system
enhancements and issue resolution.
Technical Responsibilities:
● Customize and extend D365 Finance functionalities using tools like Power Platform,
X++, and Azure Logic Apps.
● Develop integrations between D365 and other business systems using APIs,
middleware, or native connectors.
● Design and implement custom reports and dashboards using Power BI, Management
Reporter, or SSRS.
● Troubleshoot system issues and provide solutions to optimize performance and usability.
● Lead or support data migration activities for financial data from legacy systems to D365.
Collaboration and Support:

● Act as a bridge between the finance department and IT teams to ensure smooth
implementation and operation of D365.
● Train finance and other relevant stakeholders on new workflows, features, and system
changes.
● Provide post-implementation support and continuous improvement recommendations for
D365 Finance modules.
Key Skills and Qualifications
Technical Skills:
● In-depth experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance module implementation and
support.
● Strong understanding of D365 configuration, workflows, and customizations, particularly
in the finance domain.
● Proficiency in X++, Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps), and SQL Server
for technical enhancements.
● Hands-on experience with integration tools such as Azure Logic Apps, KingswaySoft,
or Scribe.
● Familiarity with data migration tools like Data Management Framework (DMF) in D365.
Finance Knowledge:
● Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, including IFRS, GAAP, tax
regulations, and statutory reporting.
● Practical experience in managing finance-related processes like cash flow
management, intercompany accounting, and multi-currency transactions.
General Skills:
● Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
● Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
● Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
● Collaborative team player with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
Experience and Education:
● Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
● 5–8 years of experience in implementing and supporting D365 Finance solutions.
● Relevant certifications in Dynamics 365 Finance or related modules are a strong plus
(e.g., MB-310, MB-300).
