Engineering Manager

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to foster

their professional growth and development.

• Drive the execution of engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software

solutions that meet business objectives.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, design, and quality

assurance to define project requirements and priorities.

• Develop and implement engineering best practices, processes, and standards to optimize team

productivity and efficiency.

• Participate in strategic planning and roadmap development to align engineering efforts with

company goals and objectives.

• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive continuous

improvement and innovation within the engineering team.

• Act as a technical advisor and subject matter expert, providing insights and recommendations on

architecture, design, and technology decisions.

• Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and accountability within the engineering team,

promoting open communication and knowledge sharing.

• Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements in all engineering

activities.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• NIT/IIT/ T2 colleges Passout
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership

or management role

• Strong technical background and proficiency in Java/SpringBoot, Python, Django, Microservices,CloudDevOps, Kafka, MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and GCP.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of building and

leading high-performing engineering teams.

• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and drive project execution.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in an e-commerce environment.
• Relevant certifications in project management, agile methodologies, or cloud technologies are plus.
