Job Description
- EPF Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensuring the company complies with all IEPF regulations as per the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA).
- Preparation and filing of required reports and returns with MCA.
- Regular review and updates of IEPF-related procedures to ensure compliance.
- Unclaimed Dividend and Securities Handling:
- Identifying and compiling unclaimed dividends and securities that need to be transferred to the IEPF.
- Coordinating the transfer of shares and unclaimed dividends to IEPF after the specified period of inactivity.
- Maintaining accurate records of all unclaimed dividends and securities.
- Documentation and Record Maintenance:
- Ensuring proper documentation is maintained for all transactions related to IEPF claims.
- Preparing, organizing, and maintaining files for claims received, processed, and disbursed.
- Keeping records of transferred funds and securities to ensure transparency and ease of audit.
- Communication with Stakeholders:
- Responding to investor inquiries related to unclaimed dividends, shares, or IEPF claims.
- Coordinating with investors, legal teams, and regulatory authorities for smooth processing of claims.
- Communicating updates on the status of claims and pending actions.
- Coordination with Registrar and Transfer Agents (RTA):
- Liaising with RTAs to identify unclaimed securities, dividends and discuss on discrepancy thereon
- Working with RTAs to facilitate the transfer of shares and funds to IEPF as per regulatory requirements.
