Microsoft Azure DevOps Engineer

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, managing, and automating our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes to ensure seamless application delivery and scalability. This role requires a strong understanding of Azure services, DevOps best practices, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure Azure-based cloud infrastructure.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines to automate application builds, testing, and deployments.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline processes and improve system reliability.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure and applications for performance and cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with security and governance policies across cloud resources.
• Manage and maintain version control systems (e.g., Git) and integrate with Azure DevOps tools.
• Conduct regular system updates, backups, and disaster recovery planning.
• Provide guidance and mentorship on DevOps practices to cross-functional teams.
• Stay updated on emerging Azure technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Azure DevOps Engineer or a similar role.
• Azure certifications (e.g., Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Administrator Associate).
• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of other DevOps tools like Jenkins, Ansible, or Chef.
• Familiarity with database management in Azure (e.g., Azure SQL, Cosmos DB).
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Functions, App Services, AKS, Virtual Networks, and Storage Accounts.
• Expertise in CI/CD tools and practices, especially Azure Pipelines.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
