Job Description
- Provide first-level remote support for desktop hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to operating systems (Windows/Mac), applications, and basic network connectivity.
- Assist users with password resets, printer configurations, and email setup.
- Log, track, and resolve incidents as per SLA using the IT ticketing system.
- Escalate complex issues to Level 2 support or relevant teams as needed.
- Ensure timely updates and communication with users regarding ticket status.
- Perform basic system installations, updates, and configurations.
- Conduct routine maintenance and checks to ensure optimal system performance.
- Maintain an inventory of IT assets, including desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
- Knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programs
- Record technical issues and solutions in knowledge base
- Communicate effectively with end-users to understand their needs.
