Position: Project Coordinator
Status: Initially 3 months and subjected to extend Full time, 2-year contract (renewable)
Location: West Godavari, Andhra Pradesh, with Frequent travel (up to 50% time) to project sites

About the Opportunity: GFSI is going to implement a project on rural women agri entrepreneurship in West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. The project will create 100 women agri-entrepreneurs (AE), and enhance the livelihoods and incomes of over 5,000 smallholder farmers (SHFs) in West Godavari district over a period of 12 month. Through this intervention, the 100 AEs will have a sustainable livelihood with an income of INR 5,000 per month from the month of November25 onwards. These women AEs will be mobilized and trained to offer a wide range of agricultural services to SHFs and will have stronger agency and financial independence through decision-making ability, confidence, and digital skills. Key expected outcomes of the project are :

  • Mobilize and train women AEs for building stronger agency and financial independence in order to taking up wide range of agricultural services to SHFs
  • Promote a sustainable livelihood for the Women AEs with an increase in their income by adopting preferred entrepreneurship option.
  • Enhance the net resultant income of SHFs through increased yields, revenue and reduced cost of production
  • Increase in access and uptake of digitally enabled solutions by the AEs





Grameen, is implementing a largescale program titled GROW (Generating Rural Opportunities for Women to Win
in Agri-entrepreneurship) program in four (4) districts of Andhra Pradesh (East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna, and Visakhapatnam) over a period of 5 years. The program will create self- employment with a sustainable and regular income for at least 5,000 women, working as Agri- entrepreneurs (AE) who, in turn, will contribute to the livelihood enhancement of one (1) million smallholder farmers (SHFs).

Required Education, Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum Bachelors degree in the field of communications, journalism,agriculture social development, rural development international affairs, public relations, or related area.
  • Experience of working with rural community especially women
  • Sharp Analytical and Management skills
  • Excellent Program Management and Documentation skills with expertise in MS Office
  • Well versed in Telugu
  • Command over report compilation (Minutes of Meetings, Preparing Action Plans, and Follow-ups).
  • Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in Program Coordination and Documentation.

Essential Job Functions:

  • To work in close coordination with training coordinator and Local Resource Persons in mobilizing the community and potential AEs to participate in capacity building sessions, and Interpersonal Communication (IPC)
  • To lead the scouting, and plan for mentoring and accompaniment of the Agri-Entrepreneurs (AEs)
  • To help develop the confidence, knowledge, critical thinking skills, and understanding of the project among the community and AEs
  • To identify relevant stakeholders within the community and the district ecosystem for potential collaborations or developing partnerships with local agencies for successful business operations of the AEs
  • To provide regular updates to the SPM about district’s operations and report any issues/ bottlenecks blocking the project’s progress
  • To build and maintain the relationships with the local communities, particularly AEs to foster support and cooperation for the project’s success
  • To ensure implementation and tracking & use of data of project MIS and digital base app solutions
  • Development of weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports
  • To actively collect data, conduct analysis and prepare high quality reports of various kinds and for various audiences, in a time-bound manner.
  • To prepare formats for other team members to prepare quality write ups and review and close those in line with donor / organizational guidelines.
  • To write data-backed project narrative reports in partnership with the Project MIS and Dashboard Manager, and under guidance of the Project Manager and ensure their timely submission to the Technical Project Director for further processing.
    • To keep abreast of new technologies in documentation, publishing, and development of Document material and train the project staff at the same.
  • To ensure that the documents/reports/data (e.g., blogs, assessment reports, case studies,

Midline report, etc.) related to the project are generated on a specific time as mentioned in the Implementation plan.
• The main job duties would involve developing relations with stakeholders and staff plusmonitoring the overall project and compiling action plans.
• Acting as a Program Coordinator between the Program Quality Review (PQR) Group, Program Management Group (PMG), Institutional Relations (IR) and different Project Leads.
• Handling the Documentation and Internal Communication across the organization.

  • Coordination with internal stakeholders in carrying smooth communication with different stakeholders.
  • Monitor and track the progress of the programs by updating the proper filing system for all program related documents like proposals, program reports, evaluation reports etc.
  • Preparation of Minutes of Meetings, sending follow-ups to the stakeholders
  • Contribute to building systems that improve the efficiency and internal management of the Program.
  • Guide the MIS resource and follow-up for required reports. Will be responsible for submission of all external & internal reports.
