Role Description.
As an ESG Manager at Bough, you will be integral in building our ESG practice.
You will lead a team to develop and implement sustainability and decarbonization strategies for clients, ensuring compliance with ESG standards and fostering sustainable growth..
Key Responsibilities.
Serve as a subject matter expert on global ESG reporting for clients, ensuring alignment with various frameworks (including SEC, CSRD) and monitoring associated trends..
Partner cross-functionally with client stakeholders to drive strategic ESG initiatives, ensuring alignment between disclosures and corporate strategy..
Support clients in the implementation of new ESG reporting standards and related accounting/reporting policies..
Draft ESG disclosures for clients, performing benchmarking to identify best practices and improvement opportunities..
Provide ESG accounting/reporting-related implementation support and training to clients' teams..
Develop and update ESG accounting/reporting policies for clients, ensuring comprehensive guidelines for their teams..
Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze ESG data, ensuring accurate and verified reporting..
Manage ESG reporting platforms and databases for clients, enhancing efficiencies and enabling automation..
Prepare ESG reporting-related presentations and documents for clients' management, boards, investors, and other stakeholders..

Basic Qualifications & Preferred Skills.
Bachelors degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, or a related field.
A Masters degree or professional certifications in sustainability or ESG is a plus..
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in ESG consulting or a related field, with a proven track record in project management and team leadership..
In-depth understanding of global ESG trends, frameworks, standards, and regulatory environments..
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills..
