Backup Administrator

Role & responsibilities

• Provide installation, configuration, and support for Acronis and Synology backup & storage solutions.
• Perform troubleshooting, performance tuning, and system optimization.
• Implement disaster recovery and data protection strategies for clients.
• Assist in migrating data from legacy systems to Acronis/Synology platforms.
• Work closely with the pre-sales and post-sales teams to provide technical consultation.
• Conduct customer training & documentation for Acronis and Synology solutions.
• Ensure compliance with data security policies and best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest Acronis and Synology product developments and certifications.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience: Minimum 2+ years in Backup & Storage solutions, with hands-on expertise in Acronis & Synology.
• Certifications in Acronis, Synology, or related backup/storage solutions will be an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of networking, virtualization, and cloud backup technologies.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple client engagements.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
