GRN Processing Coordinator Trainee - German Language

Position Overview:

The GRN Processing Trainee will be a key member of our centralized team, assisting with the processing of Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs) in SAP and supporting our procurement and supply chain operations. This is an entry-level role that provides an excellent opportunity to learn and develop skills in procurement, logistics, and SAP functionalities. A critical skill for this position is German-speaking ability, as you will interact with global teams and clients in Germ-speaking regions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in processing GRNs in SAP for received goods and services.
• Support the procurement team by ensuring proper documentation and compliance with company policies.
• Help resolve discrepancies related to goods receipts, including quantity, quality, and pricing issues.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all GRNs, ensuring proper filing and easy access.
• Assist in generating reports related to GRN processing to help with decision-making.
• Learn and assist in training team members on GRN processing and SAP functionalities.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to track the timely delivery of materials and services for projects.
• Support vendor payment coordination and assist in the GRN processing within the SAP system.
• Ensure that all relevant documents are current, categorized correctly, and accessible.
• Communicate with German-speaking vendors, suppliers, and teams, ensuring smooth coordination and resolution of issues.

Qualifications:

1. Formal Education:

• Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, IT, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Fresh graduates or candidates with limited experience are welcome to apply).
• Certification in Supply Chain Management (optional, but advantageous).

2. Knowledge & Experience:

• No prior professional experience required; this is an entry-level position.
• Basic understanding of procurement and supply chain concepts is a plus.
• Familiarity with SAP or any other ERP systems is an advantage, though training will be provided.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
• Proficiency in German (written and spoken) is required for effective communication with global teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is preferred.

3. Technical/Skill Requirements:

• Basic understanding of SAP (any module) is a plus.
• Familiarity with procurement and logistics principles.
• Data management and analysis skills are an advantage.
• Excellent MS Office skills, particularly in Excel.
• Basic knowledge of visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus.
